Behavioral Health Aide (Prevention)
Candidate responsible for team work with Miyo and prevention staff. Also must be able to take initiative with various activities and or responsibilities. Will collect and analyze data. Contribute to the accomplishment of the school based goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible or oversight of day-to-day activities of the school based project.
- Coordinates services with partners, consultants ( Community Systems Analysis, Action Planning, and Evaluation) compile monthly reports and is responsible for the management of the two school district sites.
- Responsible for referrals and scheduling the appointments for the students.
- Assists in collecting and analyzing regional and local data about youth health indicators, primarily suicide, and ensure applicable Tribal, Federal, and State guidelines are implemented.
- Provide indicated prevention and intervention strategies, particularly in the schools.
- Assists with project implementation, including the development of the Community System Analysis, Community Needs Assessment, Community Readiness Assessment, Community Resource Asset Map, and Action Plan.
- Practices and implements mandatory reporting procedures.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated and directed by the supervisor to support the overall functioning and objective of the Rocky Boy Health Center, which may include tasks such as assisting with administrative duties, participating in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to team projects, or engaging in professional development activities.
- Associates degree or equivalent, (may have a combination of education and experience in lieu of degree)
- Fluent in Cree
- Peer support qualifications highly recommended
