POSITION SUMMARY
The Wellness Aide supports daily operations at the Miyo Youth Wellness Center by assisting with youth supervision, wellness and cultural activities, and maintaining a safe, positive, and supportive environment for youth and families. This position works closely with elders, cultural knowledge keepers, and program staff to ensure  

MAJOR DUTIES
  • Assist with youth supervision and daily wellness activities. 
  • Support cultural, recreational, and educational programming. 
  • Help set up, clean, and maintain program areas. 
  • Assist staff with scheduling, check-ins, and documentation. 
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Experience working with youth or in a community setting. 
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of Chippewa Cree culture and traditions. 
  • Experience in youth wellness, recreation, or cultural programs. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
